How do you prepare for an event shoot?
Preparation is key! We start with a detailed pre-production meeting to understand your event’s run sheet, key speakers, and essential moments you want us to capture. We’ll create a comprehensive shot list to ensure nothing is missed, giving you peace of mind on the day.
Can I provide a script or shot list for the video?
While it’s helpful for you to have a deep understanding of your business, it is not mandatory. Our team of writers can still produce an exceptional script that effectively conveys your story even without your extensive knowledge. For events, we work closely with you to develop a strategic shot list and run sheet that will ensure we capture the most important moments.
Will I be able to review the video during production?
Your satisfaction with the final video is our priority, which is why your quoted price includes two rounds of draft revisions. After sharing the initial draft, we’ll request consolidated feedback to ensure all stakeholders have had the opportunity to provide input. Once we’ve received your feedback, we’ll move forward with the next draft.
What if we need to make changes after the final video is delivered?
While we work hard to ensure the final video is perfect, we understand that changes can arise. If the requested changes exceed the original scope, we’ll discuss options with you, such as allocating additional hours or refining the feedback to fit within the agreed budget. As a rough estimate, a typical half-day shoot with editing or a 90-second animated explainer will be around the $5,000 mark. But it really depends on what’s required and what your budget is. Do you provide music and voice-over?
Yes. We license all music to ensure it’s legally safe to use. We can also source a professional voice-over artist for any explainer or summary segments within the video. Alternatively, we can use natural sound from the event itself to capture the authentic atmosphere.
What file formats do you deliver?
Typically we export our videos as 1080p MP4 video files. These are high-quality files, at a reasonable file size, that are best suited for online video-hosting platforms like YouTube or Vimeo. If you need your files supplied in a different format, such as if you’d like videos that are better optimised for social media platforms, just let us know ahead of time.
Can you incorporate our company's branding into the video?
Absolutely! We will integrate your company’s logo, brand colours, and typography throughout the video. This includes branded title screens, lower thirds for speakers, and other motion graphics to ensure it maintains a cohesive and professional brand image.
